Sam Heydt (she/her) is a board-certified music therapist, educator, and the founder of Music for Every Body LLC. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy and Counseling from Immaculata University, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Music Education and Music Performance. Sam brings over a decade of experience in both educational and clinical settings, blending musical artistry with therapeutic expertise.

Her clinical approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused, empowering clients to build on their strengths and connect with their inner resilience through music. She has provided music therapy across hospice, psychiatric, medical, and educational settings, as well as with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Sam believes that music is a deeply human tool for healing, self-expression, and connection. She is passionate about creating inclusive, accessible spaces where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued—regardless of diagnosis, ability, or background.

Outside of her sessions, you’ll find Sam reading, thrifting, performing with “On the Cusp” (a local cover band), traveling, enjoying the performative arts or showering her cats with affection.
